Prohibited goods
There are some items we can not ship. Please make sure that you do not place orders for any of these items to our warehouse:
- Goods subject to age verification in Germany (e.g. cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol)
- Banknotes and coins of any currency
- Securities, stamps, credit, debit and other bank cards as well as any form of bank documents
- SIM cards
- ID cards, passports and any other kind of government-issued ID
- Documents and letters
- Gold, silver and other precious metals as well as gems
- Works of art with cultural or historical value
- Weapons prohibited by German weapons law that may not be worn in public (a list of examples here)
- Pharmacy-only medicatio
- Alcohol
- Tobacco
- Animals, alive and dead and products thereof
- Perishable goods (like fruit, etc.)
- All kinds of infectious, poisonous, caustic or cantagious substances
- Body parts of any kind (incl. DNA swaps, human remains, human hair) as well as medical samples
- Loose furniture and mattresses
- Pornography
- Printer ink
- Sanitary and phytosanitary goods
- Tumble driers and washing machines
- All items falling under one of the ADR classifications (a list of examples here)
- Pressurized containers including aerosoles
- Adhesives
- Airbags
- Batteries (except lithium-ion batteries under the rules listed here)

Dangerous goods (under the ADR classifications)
Dangerous goods as described by the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road. Here are common examples of what is covered under ADR regulations and can not be covered by ShipGerman:
- Perfume, eau de toilette and aftershave
- Nail polish remover
- Aerosols
- Explosive substances
- Gases
- Flammable liquids
- Flammable solids, self-reactive substances, polymerizing substances and solid desensitized explosives
- Substances liable to spontaneous combustion
- Substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases
- Oxidizing substances
- Organic peroxides
- Toxic substances
- Infectious substances
- Radioactive material
- Corrosive substances

Prohibited weapons
Weapons mentioned in Attachment 2, Section 1 Waffengesetz can not be transported through ShipGerman. That includes, but is not limited to:
- Weapons of war
- Firearms
- Electronic impulse devices (e.g. tasers and airtasers)
- Knuckle dusters
- Switchblad knives
- Butterfly knives
- Batons
- Bayonets
- Swords
- Ammunition of any kind
